Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Enrolled Agent Center ("EAC", "we", "us"), including this website and the study app at study.enrolledagentcenter.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who we are
Enrolled Agent Center is a trading name of Mango Ridge Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17363157, whose registered office is 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. These Terms are an agreement between you and Mango Ridge Ventures Ltd. We are an independent exam-preparation service operating from the United Kingdom. Our privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Accounts are for a single individual. Please don't share your login, and don't create an account using someone else's details.
3. What we provide
EAC provides original practice questions, written explanations, and progress tracking for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE). Content is written from primary sources and is kept current with the tax year being tested, but we do not warrant that every item is free of error at all times. If you spot a mistake, please tell us — there's a reporting option in the app.
4. Free and paid plans
A portion of the question bank is free indefinitely and requires no payment. Premium unlocks the complete bank across all three parts. Which units are free may change over time, but we will not remove free access altogether without notice.
5. Billing, renewal and price changes
Paid plans are sold on a subscription basis and renew automatically — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you chose — until you cancel. Payment is taken at the start of each billing period.
Mango Ridge Ventures Ltd is the seller. You are contracting with us directly, and your statement will show a charge from us. Card payments are handled on our behalf by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and its affiliates, who act as our payment processor: Stripe handles the card details so that we never receive or store them, but Stripe is not a party to your contract and is not the seller. Refunds are requested from us and returned through Stripe to your original payment method.
Launch pricing. If you subscribe during a promotional launch period, the price you signed up at remains in place for as long as your subscription stays continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current standard price applies.
We may change standard prices for new subscriptions at any time. For existing subscribers on standard (non-launch) pricing, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.
Prices are shown in US dollars and are exclusive of tax. Where sales tax, VAT or an equivalent applies in your location, it is calculated from the billing address you give at checkout and added to the price shown, so the total you are asked to approve before paying is the total you will be charged. Any such tax is collected and remitted by us, not by our payment processor.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Canceling stops future billing; your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Consumers in the UK and EU. You have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content within 14 days. That right can normally be lost once the content is supplied immediately, which is what happens here — Premium unlocks the moment you pay. We do not ask you to give the right up: our 14-day money-back guarantee applies from your first payment whether or not you have started using the bank, so you are no worse off than the statutory position.
7. The Proficient Path™ Promise
If you reach Proficient on your selected unit as an active paid subscriber, sit the relevant exam part, and do not pass, we will add 3 months of Premium to your account free of charge. Full conditions are set out on the Proficient Path page.
The Promise is a study benefit only. It is not a money-back guarantee, not a guarantee that you will pass, and it has no cash value. The IRS and its testing provider determine exam results; we have no involvement in grading.
8. Referral credit
Subscribers receive a referral code. Where someone signs up using your code and then purchases a subscription, both accounts receive free months of Premium as described in the app. Credit is granted once per referred account and only while the sharing account is itself subscribed. Free months have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable. We may withhold credit where we reasonably believe a code has been used abusively — for example self-referral or bulk account creation.
9. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- copy, scrape, bulk-download, republish or resell our questions or explanations;
- share your account or distribute paid content to people who haven't paid for it;
- use automated tools to extract content from the service;
- attempt to bypass access controls, or probe the service's security; or
- use the service unlawfully, or in a way that disrupts it for others.
10. Our content and your license
All questions, explanations, text, design and branding on the service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. "Enrolled Agent Center" and "The Proficient Path" are our trade marks.
While your account is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for your own exam preparation. You may not use it for teaching, tutoring or any other commercial purpose without our written permission.
Citations to the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury regulations, IRS publications and forms refer to public government material, which is not owned by us.
11. No guarantee of exam success; not professional advice
Our materials are educational. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Nothing on the service is tax, legal, accounting or other professional advice, and it should not be relied on when preparing a real return or advising a real taxpayer. Tax law changes; always check the current primary source.
12. Independence from the IRS and PSI
Enrolled Agent Center is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, or PSI. We do not administer the SEE, set its content, or influence results.
13. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep the service available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may perform maintenance. We'll try to avoid material reductions in what a paid plan provides during a period you've paid for.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for exam outcomes, lost profits, lost opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect.
15. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms — in particular the acceptable-use rules — and, where the breach is serious, without refund. Where we close an account for reasons other than your breach, we'll refund the unused portion of any period you've paid for.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give reasonable notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your home country.
